Note: Contains Wheat

2 cups Bisquick Mix (self rising flour will work also)
¼ cup Nuchia 100% Chia Seed Flour
2/3 cup cold milk or cold water
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Options: Add 1 egg and 1 tbsp sugar (or other sweeter)
Top with butter

Directions: Heat oven to 450 degrees. Add ingredients to flour mix and stir until soft dough forms. Then by hand roll into small balls and place on baking pan or cookie sheet. Sprinkle flour on dough or hands for ease of handling. Press the balls down with your hands to desires thickness. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until brown.

For spoon biscuits, spoon onto pan


A basic recipe

Ingredients

1 cup Nuchia Original Chia Seed Flour
2 ½ tsp Baking Power
1 Tbsp of sugar or other sweeter
1 egg
½ Tsp salt
½ cup water

Directions: Mix all ingredients together, and then spoon equal amounts into muffin pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 35 min. or until brown.

Option 1: Add nut or berries, and additional sweeter t taste
Option 2: Top with butter and cinnamon

Quick Chia Corn Bread

Note: Contains Wheat Brain

Ingredients:

1 pack Jiffy Corn Meal mix
¼ Cup Original Chia Seed Flour
¼ Cup of bran
1 tsp of vegetable oil
1 egg
¼ cup water or milk

Directions: Mix all ingredients together and pour into greased bread loaf pan. Make for 15 to 20 min at 350 degrees.
Enjoy, this is really good.


A high energy start to your day

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
2 tablespoon Nuchia 100% Chia Seed Flour
Salt
Cinnamon to taste
Sweeter to taste (we use maple of cane syrup)

Directions: Heat liquids, hot but not to a boil, remove from heat, and stir in Nuchia 100% Chia Seeds Flour. Stir until creamy, add salt, cinnamon and sweeter, let stand for 2 to 3 min. Eat as you would oak meal or farina.

Option 1: May us nut milk, or mix 50/50 milk and water, or just water
Option 2: May substitute Nuchia Original Chia Seed Flour
Option 2: Top with fruits
